Seventeen journalists from seven countries – 10 women and seven men – have been selected to participate in the Hawaii 2019 ‘This is not a Drill’ Journalism Workshop organized by Atomic Reporters in collaboration with the Stanley Foundation. They were chosen from among a total of 77 workshop applications by an international jury of six journalists and editors from five countries
. The event will be held from January 8-12, 2019, just ahead of the January 13 anniversary of the false alert
.
